Nathan Ryan

Nathan Ryan is a 25-year-old actor and writer based in London.

Born in Essex in 1989, he found an early passion for theatre and drama aged 9 and began to attend drama, singing and acting classes at a local theatre school.

In his early teens, Nathan's interest in theatre led him to begin performing in pantomimes and musicals at the Harlow Playhouse and allowed him to learn the necessary discipline required for professional-level productions.

 

After leaving school, he studied Performing Arts at college and his love of theatre, performance and new writing continued to grow. Moving to Uxbridge, West London in order to study Modern Drama at Brunel University allowed Nathan to mature personally as well as expose him to more live theatre and continue to hone his writing and acting.

Since graduation, Nathan qualified as a secondary school drama teacher and worked for 3 years passing on a passion for theatre and the arts to young people. Now, he is beginning to pursue a professional acting and writing career, undertaking courses and applying for a masters degree at drama school.

Away from his theatre work, Nathan lives in Essex with his partner of 5 years. His interests include football, tennis, socialising, the Eurovision Song Contest and the many ups and downs of Leyton Orient FC.
